This year has been filled with highs and some lows. It has been a year of learning experiences; some things learned the hard way, others we have had the great fortune of learning from our food truck buddies colleagues. Through rough weather, bursting water pipes, hours and hours of prepping for those huge events, the parking tickets, the generator issues, and all those things they don't tell you when you hit the road on a food truck... it all comes down to one thing. Making our customers happy and spreading what we call the #ArepaLove one arepa at a time! You guys voted us Best New Food Truck, Food Truck of the Year, and Best Place for Latin American Fare in DC. We were featured on the Washington Post, Eater, Zagat, and Northern Virginia Mag. We have 'burst' so many arepa cherries! We have met some really amazing people on the same food truck journey... our#DMVFTA friends! But most importantly, we have enjoyed meeting every single one of you that has made it to our window! We can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has joined us in this amazing journey as entrepreneurs. We have grown from a small food truck business to a to a small food truck business (still!) but with a brand many can recognize and have grown to love, and that's all thanks to you guys! We have so many exciting things coming up that we can't wait to share with you!
